Information
Apatosaurus (up-ato-soar-uhs) (deceptive lizard) is a sauropod that lived in North America during the Late Jurassic period. It has different appearances in each of its Growth Stages. Apatosaurus has grown notorious for its combat abilities, such as its ability to range and use of it's recolor skins for the same reason.
Appearance
The in-game Apatosaurus has a light grey torso when its an adult and dark grey when it is a juvenile. It also has small black spikes running down the bottom of its neck. Both versions have dots across their torso. But when it becomes older, it gains a line that has hot colors across its body from tail to the head which is colored black in both versions Most players didn't use the Apatosaurus until it was remodeled and buffed, now you can usually see two or three on a server.

Information
The 2nd version of Apatosaurus. This model was added into DS in Early 2017, it received different appearances for each of its Growth Stages and got a change in its Stats, making it capable of killing powerful Dinosaurs such as the Megavore at the time.
Appearance
The in-game Apatosaurus V2 has a gray torso and tail with black stripes with a lighter gray neck with yellow marking and a black and redhead. It also has small spikes running down the bottom of its neck. The Younger Apatosaurus has an entirely grey neck and stands on 2 legs, while also swinging its tail around in its animations.

Appearance
The Classic Apatosaurus is a large, dark gray dinosaur with a long tail that starts out thick but gradually thins out, a long, thick neck, with a short, stubby snout, short, thick legs with blunt claws, and small, beady black eyes.

The Forest Guardian Apatosaurus, also called the "Forest Guardian" or "Forest", is a skin for the Apatosaurus. During the early months of the New Ranges Update, it was highly used for its large range.
Appearance
The Forest Guardian is a pale mud green Apatosaurus with giant leaves all over its back and lines of sharper leaves on the undersides of its neck and tail, along with some green spikes on its head and sides.

- The Forest Guardian Apatosaurus is missing a "U" in Apatosaurus.
Information
Arlo is based on the Apatosaurus of the same name in the movie The Good Dinosaur. It was obtainable during the 'The Good Dinosaur' event in a cave along with the Forrest Woodbush skin. Arlo is sometimes regarded as a rare skin, being uncommon to see and being only obtainable in the early days of Dinosaur Simulator.
Appearance
It looks exactly like Arlo from the The Good Dinosaur. It is bright green in color. With large white toes and large brown eyes.

- In the past, this skin had a different speed than from its default speed.

The 3rd skin for Apatosaurus. Apatosaurus Plush was released in celebration of Dinosaur Simulators 1 year Anniversary/Creation date. Apatosaurus was re-released during Black Friday 2017. Apatosaurus Plush was the '1st' Plushie to be added despite being added about a year before the Plush Egg and Skins were added to DS. The eyes on the model are made to blink with scripts, the same applies to all other Plush skins.
Appearance
The Apatosaurus Plush is a plush doll of an Apatosaurus with a model of ChickenEngineer riding it, sporting the usual hard hat and wrench. It is grayish-blue in color, with large black eyes. It barely has any animations and is surprisingly large for a plushie.

- It went on sale during the 2017 Black Friday Event, costing 1040, more than its original price of 100.
Information
The Pitch Black Apatosaurus is the 4th skin for Apatosaurus, it was released on Black Friday 2019 as a new skin for the event. It costs 350,000 DNA, making it the most expensive skin up to date.
Appearance
It has a black body with multiple small black spikes under its neck, it has a very long line with colors stretching from yellow to purple. Nearby the start of its neck, it has pink lights with white eyes. It's neck has neon purple bumps in the front of the torso.
Trivia
- It is the most expensive skin of the Black Friday 2019 sale/event.
- It is the second dinosaur to have a Pitch Black version, the first being for the Albino Terror.
- It had an AOE glitch which made its AOE size increase, it is currently believed to be fixed.
